Welcome to the Hockey PEI website. As the governing body for organized hockey in the Province of Prince Edward Island, Hockey PEI's main purpose is to foster, promote, develop, supervise, regulate and govern the sport of amateur hockey. We encourage competition on both a competitive and recreational level for those who enjoy hockey for the sportsmanship, skill, and enjoyment it can provide. Formed in 1975, Hockey PEI operates under the democratic council system whereby all members have a voice in the operation of the provincial body through their respective councils. Hockey PEI is structured with six councils:
Hockey PEI as the representative of amateur hockey throughout the province, serves as a unifying voice in dealing with governments and private agencies in promoting the cause of hockey.
