  Below is a list of the Coach Clinics offered by the Hockey PEI for the 2008-09 season. To sign up for one of the clinics shown please click on the join link and submit the form including first name, last name, phone number and email.

  NOTE: All clinics must have 15 participants minimum for the clinic to be offered.
 
  Regulation 10 - Certification

10.01 All minor hockey coaches involved in instructing children between the ages of five and eight years, inclusive, must be certified as instructors at the Intro Coach Program level by December 31st of the current season.

10.02 In Minor hockey, all coaches at “AAA” (Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam, Midget, Major Midget) and above levels, with teams participating in Provincial Playoffs must hold a minimum of Development 1 Certification in the National Coaching Certification Program by December 31st, of the current season.

10.03 In Minor hockey beginning in the 2010-2011 season, all coaches/co-coaches at “AA”, with teams participating in Provincial Playoffs must hold a minimum of Development 1Certification in the National Coaching Certification Program by December 31st of the current season. All assistant coaches must have at minimum Coach 1 certification. Beginning in the 2011-2012 season, all coaches and assistant coaches at the “AA” level must have Development 1 Certification by December 31st of the current season.

10.04 In Minor hockey, a minimum of one coach per team at the “A” and “Recreational” level, with teams participating in Provincial Playoffs must hold a minimum of Coach 1 Level Certification in the National Coaching Certification Program by December 31st, of the current season.

10.05 Each registered team must have a minimum of one team official who is qualified through the Hockey Canada Safety Program.

10.06 Speak Out or Respect in Sport Certification is mandatory for all registered team officials. Failure to comply shall result in the removal of individuals from the team after December 31st of the applicable season.

10.07 Minor Hockey Associations and League Coordinators shall verify that certification requirements are adhered to in their entirety with no exceptions. Failure to comply shall result in removal of team officials from the team list after December 31st of the applicable season.
