HOCKEY PEI ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING CONCLUDES
AWARDS PRESENTED IN VARIOUS CATEGORIES

Charlottetown Members joined together at the 35th Annual General Meeting of Hockey PEI which took place on Thursday June 24, 2010 at the Rodd Royalty Inn in Charlottetown. The annual meeting included council and committee reports, award presentations, and elections/appointments to the board of directors.
Eugene Power of Charlottetown was promoted to the position of President for a two year term beginning immediately. Departing board members were recognized for their contribution to the organization and game of Hockey. Gordie Lund, Past President, departs as his term concludes and Nancy Orr, Vice President of Finance and Administration, is also departing her position on the board of directors. Both Lund and Orr have offered their assistance with the coordination of the Hockey Canada AGM being hosted by Hockey PEI in Charlottetown in 2013. Also recognized was Linus Kelly for his service to the board as an advisory member on risk and safety management issues.

In conjunction with the Annual General Meeting, several awards were presented at the awards ceremony. Hockey PEI honored participants and volunteers who have devoted themselves to the betterment of the game. Hockey PEI was honored to present awards in the following categories.
