DETAILS ANNOUNCED FOR THE HOCKEY CHALLENGE
FOR CHARITIES TOURNAMENT

 The organizing committee of the 6th Annual Hockey Challenge for Charities Adult Rec Tournament are please to release details for this year’s event. Hockey PEI has partnered this year with the local organizing committee. This year’s tournament will be held at Simmons Arena in Charlottetown from April 3-11, 2010.
The tournament will consist of two divisions this year for the first time. The 30 plus division will return again. New to the tournament this year will a 30 and under division. Also this year the organizing committee is pleased to welcome Molson Canada as the major sponsor of the event.
Last year’s selected charity recipient for the tournament was the Kids Sport Fund of PEI. The tournament was pleased to make a financial contribution in addition to several pieces of donated used equipment for the program. This year’s tournament will make a financial contribution to selected charities.
The tournament is open to Hockey Canada registered rec. players and teams; and also open to non-registered players and teams. The tournament registration is $600 per team.
