2025-26 Annual General Meeting and Annual Awards Recap

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - The 2025-26 Hockey PEI Annual General Meeting (AGM) and 18th Annual Awards Ceremony concluded on Thursday evening in Charlottetown at the Rodd Charlottetown alongside association members and partners.


The 2026-27 Hockey PEI Board of Directors were elected/acclaimed:

  • President: Robert MacMillan

  • Executive Vice-President - Hockey - Tanner Doiron

  • Vice President - Finance & Administration - Heidi Lawlor

  • Minor Council Chair - Paul Matte

  • Female Council Chair - Krista Millar-Smith

  • Development Chair - Morgan Rice

  • Junior / Senior Chair - Robert Maddix

  • Manager, Officiating - Steven Green

  • Past President: Al MacIsaac


The 2025-26 Hockey PEI Award Winners were also announced:

  • Male Player of the Year – Tucker Gates

  • Female Player of the Year – Ellie Mullins

  • Team of the Year – U11 A Gulf Storm

  • Aaron Coffin Official of the Year – Travis Timmons

  • Coach of the Year - Dean Getson

  • Gordie Whitlock Development Award – Nelson MacAulay

  • Clifford Affleck Award – Wade Waddell

  • Volunteer of the Year – Pat and Lindy McQuillan

  • Administrator of the Year – Caley McDonald

  • President’s Award – Sandra Jamieson

  • BFL Canada Jim Stirling Scholarship -  Maggie Gamble

  • Hockey PEI Scholarship – William Dunn



Hockey PEI would like to thank all players, volunteers, administrators and operators for a great season. We look forward to launching our 2026-27 season in the coming months.
