Hockey PEI set to host two Atlantic/Regional Hockey Championships

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - Hockey PEI is proud to announce the respective hosts for the two Hockey Championships being held on Prince Edward Island in 2026.
The U18 Major Female Atlantic Hockey Championship will take place at the Simmons Arena in Charlottetown PEI from April 2nd -5th, 2026. The Eastern Stars U18 Major Female team is selected to be your host for this Championship. The local host committee looks forward to organizing an outstanding weekend of elite women's hockey next spring.
The Maritime Junior C Championship will also take place at Simmons Arena, in Charlottetown PEI from April 23rd -26th, 2026. The Sherwood Junior C Metros have been selected as hosts and look forward to delivering an exciting event for all participants.

The U18 Major Female Championship offers a chance to highlight Atlantic Canada’s leading female hockey players and promises highly competitive games. The Maritime Junior C tournament also brings strong junior hockey and draws large crowds. Both tournaments will provide thrilling experiences for local athletes, families, and fans,” said Robert MacMillan, President of Hockey PEI. “We look forward to welcoming all teams, participants, and families to PEI and value the positive economic benefits these events will bring to our community.”
