Stage is set for the 2026 Maritime Junior C Hockey Championships

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - The stage is now set for the 2026 Maritime Junior C Hockey Championships.


The Sherwood Metros will play host at the Simmons Sports Centre from April 23-26, 2026. Joining the host team representing PEI are the Tignish Aces, who defeated the Pownal Ice Dogs in four games to capture the PEI Junior C League title.


The full field of teams include:

  • Sherwood Metros (Host)

  • Tignish Aces (Hockey PEI)

  • Sunny Corner Thunder (Hockey New Brunswick)

  • Admirals Hockey Club (Hockey Nova Scotia)


Actions begins on Thursday, with games at 4:30 and 7:30pm. Friday and Saturday each see two more round robin games, followed by the Champioiship Game on Sunday April 26th at 2pm.


Ticket passes will be available at the arena. Prices are listed below.


Tournament Passes

Weekend Pass: $35 Adults // $25 Seniors and Students

Day Pass: $15 Adults // $10 Seniors and Students

Single Game Pass: $10 Adults // $7 Single Game


All games will be webcast live on AO Live www.ao.live

  • Single Game Pass: $10.00

  • Tournament Pass: $35.00 (all games)
