Hockey PEI Members McGuigan and Doiron selected for World Junior A Challenge in Trois-Rivières

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - Hockey PEI is proud to recognize two of its members, Billy McGuigan and Tanner Doiron, who will represent Prince Edward Island at the 2025 World Junior A Challenge this week in Trois-Rivières, Québec this week.


McGuigan (Summerside, P.E.I.) has been named an associate coach with Team Canada East for the international Junior A showcase.


Doiron (Summerside, P.E.I) will participate as part of the tournament’s officiating staff, working games as a referee during the event.


The 2025 World Junior A Challenge runs December 7–13 at Colisée Vidéotron in Trois-Rivières, featuring Canada East, Canada West, Sweden, and the United States, and concludes with medal games on December 13.
